Welcome to Molly & Frankie. We are a boutique European-inspired children's clothing line featuring timeless collections for little ones aged 3 months to 3 years. Our brand aims to deliver quality-made everyday pieces that reflect the sweet simplicity of childhood. We design and produce each piece locally in Vancouver, Canada using the finest 100% cottons sourced mainly from Japan and Europe. Each one of our unique pieces provides a soft and comfortable feel for your child, perfect for a magical day of adventure or play.
Founder Hannah Stephens had the idea for a children's clothing line while studying and working in the UK, Italy and Switzerland. Being born and raised in the UK until she was of school age, Hannah never lost her interest in European style. Seeing beautifully dressed European children instilled in her an appreciation for classical children's wear - years before she would become a mother herself.
Hannah believed there would be a strong market in Canada for the beautiful and distinctive children's fashions she saw in Europe. Upon returning home she decided to create her own line, named Molly & Frankie in honour of her grandparents — especially her grandmother Molly, an impeccable dresser who knew how to cut and sew clothing designs but had to abandon her own dream of becoming a tailoress.
To this day, Hannah's mother still tells her about all the compliments she received as a young child from adults enamoured with the bonnets, booties, knit sweaters and other clothing that her grandmother made just for her. She sees Molly & Frankie as a way of fulfilling her talented grandmother's dream, and bringing it to a new generation.
